Love the skin your in continues to be my 2019 motto.

If I’m being totally honest finding time for myself between running a business and being a mom to 4 kids under 15 is virtually impossible. I have always been a huge advocate of self care, make time for yourself I’d say, don’t feel guilty, or some other annoying optimistic phrase I’d mutter out.

See I only had two kids for a solid 10 years, I felt like I mastered the art of work life balance, I was in decent shape, made it to yoga, cut out gluten for a solid year and carved time out for my friends. Fast forward and in the past four years I’ve had two more kids and taken on running my own business full time.

I have not made it back to the yoga studio, I barely see my husband let alone my friends and I’m a bonafied Uber Mom doing three school drop offs, and have three kids playing baseball ha! I find laughing through the madness is what keeps me sane.

Determined to get back to a new version of my old self, and after learning my Enneagram type I started carving out a small window every single day to really love on my skin. You see, sleep deprivation in your thirties is not a pretty thing and I don’t always have 10 minutes in the morning to put makeup on before I leave the house and begin my hour of carpooling kids around.

Skincare Regimen! If you’ve never tried a K-Beauty mask do yourself a favor and order a dozen on Hello K Banana your skin will thank you.. Eye cream, I personally love the Banana Eye Cream from Ole Hendrickson but find one that works for you. Nightcream and serum, I am using Peter Thomas Roth Water drench cloud serum and I could not love it more. I literally do this every single day, not only is my skin healthy and hydrated but when I do have the time to reach for my makeup bag all the products work a thousand times better. The secret to great makeup is great skincare, truly.
